FACT CHECKING THE MAILERS
You've seen the flyers, but Jen stands by her record.
FACT CHECK: PAY-TO-PLAY
I voted for, fully support and abide by Hoboken's pay-to-play legislation. In fact, I was the deciding vote in 2011 when Hoboken passed more progressive laws than state standards.
FACT CHECK: OPEN SPACE
My track record advocating for open space is second to none and includes: the Northwest Resiliency Park, Southwest Park, 1600 Park and Union Dry Dock.
FACT CHECK: THE UNION DRY DOCK
If the city council had taken action on Union Dry Dock in 2017, NJ Transit would currently be the owner. At that time then Governor Christie would have acquired the property through NJ Transit who had the budget to acquire that property. And that is exactly the reason Fund for a Better Waterfront urged the council not to use eminent domain at that time.
